Keith recieved a Bachelors of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Vermont in 1998. Upon graduation Keith spent 5 years living and working in Connecticut where he completed requirements to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specalist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He has been certified by the NSCA since 1999. During that time Keith also completed his requirements to become a Certified Athletic Trainer via the intership program at Sacred Heart University. Keith Karpinski, PT, ATC, CSCS |
with internships at Western Connectiuct State University and the New York/New Jersy Hitmen of the XFL. He has been certified by the National Athletic Trainer's Association since 2001. Keith specializes in outpatient orthopedic sports medicine physical therapy. Keith has been part of the Long Trail Physical Therapy family since 2003 and during that time has developed many relationships with local orth opedic surgeons. He has observed surgery in the operating room, created post operative rehabilitation protocols with physician's and reguraly attends orthopedic grand rounds at UVM. Keith also performs biomechanical foot and ankle evaluations as well as casting for custom molded orthotics. He utilizes Functional Golf Links in the evaluation and management of golf related injuries. Keith's current passion is progressing his treatment in cervical and lumbar spinal disorders. He has recently completed training at the Part A, B, and C courses in the McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment Methodology. Keith's personal interest include playing men's league basketball, golf, snowboarding and spending time with wife and two young daughters, Taylor and Dakota.

Andy
received a Bachelors of Health Science degree from Johnson State
College and has been certified as an Athletic Trainer by the National
Athletic Training Association since 1998. Andrew assists Keith
with injury treatments and the implementation of exercise programs. He is the Head Athletic Trainer at
Burlington
High School
and oversees
the evaluation, care and treatment of all athletes and their injuries
at the school.
