Vergennes Clinic

Michael, Director of Physical Therapy, practices out of our Vergennes facility located at 300 Main Street.  In 1999, he came to Vergennes to help facilitate Long Trail Physical Therapy’s success.  He brought it from a very small sized clinic space to the over 5000 square foot facility we have today.  With much devotion and hard work Long Trail Physical Therapy has now expanded to five different locations throughout Addison and Chittenden Counties of Vermont.
Long Trail Physical Therapy is a very community oriented company.  Michael supports many

community fund raisers and assists where he is able.
He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in 1994 and has a background in sports specific conditioning from the University of Massachusetts Exercise Physiology Program.
Michael’s specialty is outpatient sports and orthopedic physical therapy. He has been involved in the rehabilitation of orthopedic injuries and general geriatric conditions for over 12 years.
Michael developed our Long Trail Physical Therapy Extension program.  This is a one-on-one fitness program that begins where formal physical therapy ends.  This program helps to ensure patients stay on the right path in helping them maintain an exercise routine.
Drawing from his love of sports, education in exercise physiology, and personal competitive sports achievements, Michael has also established a working relationship at Vergennes Union High School.  Helping athletes excel in their sport, he sets up an exercise program, through the Long Trail Extension, that helps them achieve their full potential specific to their sport of choice.  Many athletes he has worked with go on to college attending with sports scholarships.
As the Director of Physical Therapy for Long Trail, Michael works with the other four clinics in Vermont ensuring that all Long Trail Physical Therapy Clinics are “helping you get back on the right path”.
